During this time my knowledge base has become extensive and a useful tool for damp diagnosis. This website has been put together with a lot of valuable information and images to help people understand the different types of damp problems.

Consumers need to be aware of ‘cowboys’ that will tell you a ventilation system will fix a rising damp problem. I can tell you now, it won’t. First hand knowledge has taught me that damp problems can not have a band-aid solution. Fix it the first time and it will last. Don’t take short cuts to preserve a property that you love or even a property that will bring you an income. 

Dampshield refuses to inject chemical barriers also known as a chemical damp course. We strongly stand by our traditional method of installation. This method has the highest strike rate creating a continuous barrier against damp. Chemical injectors only hope their barrier meets up.
